The Indonesian government has announced to reopen its borders for foreign tourists in several major traffic hubs. Travelers who are fully vaccinated proved with certificates and negative PCR test results can enter Indonesia with limited valid visas.

After the Ministry of Law and Human Rights issued a ministerial regulation to reopening the border for tourists and limited stay visas for fully-vaccinated travelers, Indonesia has opened a few of its borders to foreigners.

Previously, only foreigners with diplomatic and service visa were permitted to enter the country. With the issuance of Ministerial Regulation No. 34/2021, those with valid tourist and limited stay visas are allowed to enter Indonesia as well.
